| Sometime in the early morning on March 17th, my Katie Jo gave birth to 9 wiggling border collie/aussie shepard puppies. This is Katie Jo's 3rd litter. She has an appointment to be spayed in early May, so this will definatley be her last litter. Katie is a wonderful cow-dog and very loyal friend. The pups' father, Pete, is cow-dog bred to the hilt and is enjoying his retirement living here with us. We kept a pup from the last litter, and he has all of his parents' best personality traits. He has been a lot of fun. These puppies will have their 1st shots and be ready for their new homes on April 28th. There are 5 males, and 4 females. They are $150.00 each and we are taking deposits now. A deposit of $50 will reserve you the pup of your choice. Puppies from the previous litters are now excellent working cow-dogs, loyal family pets, ice-fishing partners (ha-ha), and one is even a bear watch dog up in Alaska! Please call me for more pictures. I will update the pics as the puppies grow. The pictures below were taken on 3-25-08. The puppies were 8 days old. Just 2 more days (more or less) until their eyes open! |
| This is female #1. She is solid black with a white underbelly and little white toes. She has a 3/4 tail. She is the spitting image of her daddy. |
| This is male #1. He is an exact twin to female #1. He is literally a carbon copy of his daddy. |
| This is Male #2. He is solid black with 2 white socks on his front paws. He has a 3/4 tail. |
| This is female #2. She is the classic border collie black and white with a cape, white face, and 4 white socks. She is one of the bigger pups in the litter and has a naturally docked tail. |
| This is female #3, or Frannie. She is tri colored with brown on her cheeks, eyebrows, and upper legs. She has a 1/2 length tail. |
| This is female #4. She is the classic border collie black and white with a cape. She has a 1/2 length tail and is the "runt" of the litter. :) |
| This is male #3. He is red and white with a cape. He has a naturally docked tail, and is the 2nd biggest pup in the litter. |
| This is male #4. He is red and white with a cape and a full "dipstick" tail. He is one of the smaller of the bunch and is so far the most vocal! He's always practicing his puppy bark. :) *Sold* |
| This is male #5. He is a deep, solid red color with a white underbelly and some white on his toes. He has a 3/4 tail. He is an exact carbon copy of his big brother, the puppy we kept from the last litter. He is one of the bigger pups in the litter. |
